It's almost the end of summer, which means that soon enough fall is going to be sneaking up on us. Although, that's not the case where I live, in San Antonio, TX, we only have two seasons: Summer & Winter. So of course the rush of back-to-school shopping commences. You know what that means? Big deals for new clothes and of course SHOES (my obsession.) And that is what i have been quite busy doing. So i decided to post some pictures from a photo shoot when i was relaxed and not trying to hit every sale on line and in-stores. I am wearing a light, airy cream blouse from A'gaci that i got for half-off. I tucked it into a high-waisted spotted skirt for a polished but primped look. Then finished it off with dark beige and white wedges, excuse my toes...i haven't been keeping up with my pedicures.

Ever since the summer solstice this year, I realized that this summer is full of edgy trends and styles that everyone...and I mean EVERYONE....is trying out.

And why not start this summer off with playful patterns, such as lace and floral. What admired most in this outfit was how the floral wedges stood out, but look closely and you can see their quite edgy! Why? Probably because of the blue animal print intertwined throughout the print. Also, this peplum top has a double life as a peplum/crop top. The subtle blue bodice stops mid-waist, only leaving the lace fabric to cover my slightly shown stomach. Which I like since I'm not deep into that tummy exposure department, yet.
